My journey to founding emPowered Workplace began with my own experiences as a business owner. After running several small businesses over three decades, I became all too familiar with the stress, frustration, and burnout caused by ongoing employee issues. Despite my legal experience and business acumen, I realized that aligning teams and resolving issues were often the most challenging and draining aspects of managing a company.
Determined to find a better way, I created emPowered to help other business owners and leaders avoid the same pitfalls. I recognized that many organizations struggle with employee issues, not because they lack policies, but because they lack the right strategies to address issues early and effectively. Our mission is to provide businesses with expert-driven, customized solutions that ease the burden of managing workplace issues—allowing leaders to focus on growth and success, all while improving the employee experience.
My deep understanding of both the legal and human sides of business management enables me to bridge the gap between company goals and employee relations. At emPowered we craft tailored, results-driven strategies designed to align teams quickly, fairly, and with minimal disruption to the business.
When I’m not helping organizations navigate complex workplace matters, I enjoy an active, balanced lifestyle. I’m passionate about golfing, skiing, playing the piano, and cooking. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, attending sporting events, and sharing a home-cooked meal.
My commitment to living fully and authentically inspires my work, reflecting my belief that businesses thrive when people feel empowered, respected, and understood.
